Meet the EWB National Office Staff

welcome to ewb-sfu

We are currently developing a new website to replace this one. As a result, information on this website may not be up-to-date. Please join our mailing list by e-mailing ewb-webmaster@sfu.ca for the most up-to-date information, news, and events.

Have you thought about taking up some sort of leadership position with Engineers Without Borders? Perhaps to be an exec, or perhaps to be involved in a greater role other than to just volunteer for events?

A total of 11 executive positions and 9 secondary positions for the 2006-2007 school year are now open! Terms for office is from Summer 2006 (if possible; term can also start in Fall 2006) to Spring 2007.

Download the application here and the detailed description of the positions here. (Don't be alarmed by the apparent complexity of the organizational chart in the document; it looks more complex than it actually is.)

After we receive your application, you will be contacted for an informal chat with a current executive. Please e-mail your application or questions to Tommy, President, at tchiub@sfu.ca.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: Wednesday, March 22, 2006, 4:00pm

Engineers Without Borders (EWB) is a registered Canadian charity dedicated to international development. Our goal is to ensure that people in developing communities have access to the technology they need to improve their lives. Consisting of volunteers from both engineering and non-engineering faculties, EWB has sent over 100 young students to work on 50 different projects in 25 countries over the past four years. Closer to home, almost 10 000 members across the country strive to make Canada the most development-friendly and sustainable country in the world.
