Ours is a team of dedicated and passionate individuals with a shared vision: a better future for the profession of engineering.
Landon joined EWB to meet new people with similar interests and learn from their diverse experiences. He is passionate about social and environmental issues, as well as looking at the effects of development on a global scale. His goal is to share his passion for these issues, and get other future engineers excited about the impact the engineering profession can have globally. He’s been to a few EWB conferences, and he would gladly attempt to answer any questions you may have about the scope of the club. Outside of school, he enjoys baking and hiking.
Julia joined SFU EWB Burnaby Chapter because she was looking for a way to get involved. She has always been an avid volunteer who finds joy in being able to help others. Her yet-to-be-broken belief is that she gains more from volunteering than she can ever give back to the community; Volunteering fills her with energy, with a sense of purpose. She is very eager to see how the Outreach Program will progress. One interesting fact about Julia is that she is an introvert who loves company.
